Dr. Nancy Durso

Dr. Durso had first decided to become an OB/GYN when she entered medical school. She liked the concept of dealing with all aspects of one organ system — surgical, medical, preventive care, and treatment. However, while in school, she found herself drawn specifically to the field of fertility. With the first IVF baby having been born only 10 years before, she knew there were going to be a lot of exciting changes in the years ahead. Today, she filters this passion into her practice in order to help people experience the life-changing event that is childbirth.

While well-versed in all the latest technologies, Dr. Durso is always more concerned with making sure the best treatment plans are put in place. She will never use an approach just for the sake of using an approach. She carefully evaluates her clients needs and proceeds to develop a treatment plan that provides superior results with methods that have been proven to work.

Dr. Durso completed her Medical School training at the prestigious University of Virginia. She then went to St. Louis University for her Residency in OB/Gyn and to WashingtonUniversity in St. Louis for her Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is Board Certified in OB/GYN andReproductive Endocrinology.

Nancy has been rated a Top Doctor by both Northern Virginia and Washingtonian Magazines, and was rated Best Doctor by US News and World Report in 2011 and 2012.

Outside of the office, Dr. Durso loves to spend time with her husband and twin daughters. She enjoys reading novels and has been in the same book club for the past 10 years. If she isn’t reading, she’s likely doing the daily Washington Post crossword puzzle, a Sudoku, or watching a NASCAR race.
